{England 2010} Hever Castle

After a few lazy days spent napping, eating, and hanging out with family, Mom, Tim, and I visited Hever Castle, Anne Boleyn’s childhood home.

I wasn’t allowed to take photos inside the castle except in one room, where they had a Narnia exhibit set up. It was actually really cute – they even had us walk through a wardrobe full of coats to get there.

But either they got confused or ran out of figurines, because we definitely spotted Legolas, Gimli, and the Lord of the Nazgul. Maybe they were all on holiday…?

Legolas, Gimli, and the Witch-King of Angmar...definitely not from Narnia.

We also walked around the grounds, which were still covered in snow and very pretty.

After a delicious dinner of jacket potatoes and cider at a pub called Henry VIII, we walked out to the car and got to see this sunset. The perfect end to a great day.
