Ja Mata, Okinawa

Apparently “sayonara” is only used when you are leaving something permanently. “Ja mata” is more informal and means “see you later.” See? Learning!

I will be leaving Okinawa this weekend for six weeks in Missouri. In no particular order, some things I will truly miss about this place:

*the beach (durr)

*the palm trees

*the aquarium

*GREAT food

*Adventure Day

*Cocok’s {Pedicure update: 3 days walking through sandy beaches and not one chip or imperfection. I think they seal them with magic.}

*this guy

That being said, I am really excited to get back and see friends and family. And eat some Flat Branch. And Shakespeare’s. And Sub Shop. And play some Megatouch. Yeah.
